AM I SUITABLE?

Unfortunately not everyone is a suitable candidate for Cryotherapy, treatments of clients with the following conditions cannot be performed, if you are unsure please contact me so we can discuss or consult your doctor:

  • Reynaud's disease

  • Vasculitis

  • Blood disorders related to blood coagulation

  • Sensitisation and over-sensitivity to cold

  • Peripheral vascular disease

  • Post thrombotic conditions e.g. heart attack and some strokes

  • Microvasculature dysfunctions during diabetes or diabetic foot

  • Skin anaesthesia, paraethesia, polyneuopathy

  • Frostbite

  • Sunburn

  • Serious Anaemia

  • Open wounds

  • Pregnancy

  • Cardiac or respiratory involvement

  • Cryoglobulinema

  • Paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria

  • Cold agglutinin disease

  • Current or history of any type, including luekaemia

  • Active deep vein thrombosis

  • Chronic venous insufficiency and post-thrombotic conditions

  • Deficient liver or kidney function

  • High or low blood pressure

  • Heart conditions including angina pectoris

  • Impaired circulation

  • Untreated haemorrhagic disorders

  • Varicose Veins

  • History of paradoxial adipose hyperplasia

  • Deficient lymphatic function

  • Cellulitis

  • Severe cognitive impairment
